Conference Overview

Each year we host a gathering that spans four days, beginning Thursday afternoon and ending on Sunday.  The Folk Alliance Region Midwest (FARM) conference is an event where folk and acoustic music professionals gather to meet, talk, learn, listen, promote, pay tribute, celebrate, sing, dance and make music. The FARM 2020 Gathering will take place:

Thursday, October 22th thru Sunday, October 25th
at the Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel & Conference Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Fees & Registration

This year’s registration fee has gone up a bit but we hope you’ll appreciate that it now includes dinner on Friday night.  Brunch is still being offered for an additional fee.

We’ve got a terrific line up of workshops & panels lead by industry experts offering tips and techniques to help attendees gain valuable knowledge.

Program ads starting at just $50 are a great way to spread the word about anything you want! We’re also offering website banner ads linking to your website.

Every year FARM recognizes members of the folk community who have demonstrated significant contributions for 25 years or more.

We are excited to be offering lots of special events and features this year! Some that are new and some we’ve been bringing back each year by popular demand! 

Taste of FARM

Music fans may attend the evening concerts only with a Taste of FARM ticket, specially priced at just $20 per night (in advance) or $25 at the door. Buy all three nights for just $50.00.

Taste of FARM

We are pleased to offer this option for music fans (as opposed to musicians and others in the music industry) who wish to attend only the evening concerts, and not the full conference (meaning not the workshops, meals, special events, etc.). Taste of FARM tickets are available for walk-up ticket purchase, or can be pre-ordered on line.

The cost for a single night is $20, or you may buy a 3 night pass for $50. Taste of FARM will provide a music fan access to over 100 performances by FARM musicians each night.  If you are a fan of folk and lyric based music, this is a FANtastic value! Admission for Taste of FARM ticket holders begins at 6:30pm.
