FARM Virtual Connections 2021 Fundraiser
We did it! You helped us exceed our goal of $15,000!

We did it! Thanks so much!
These much-needed funds will help us sustain and grow our extremely popular and informative “Virtual Connections” series where funds are especially needed to continue presenting top-notch sessions, including an exciting Virtual Connections 2021 Conference in the fall.
Why does FARM need this money?
For those who need concrete examples of how we’ll be using these much-needed funds, here is a list of immediate needs.
- Invest in professional platform/app to offer an enhanced experience for 2021 Virtual Conference
- Contractor & speaker compensation
- High profile panelists and workshop presenters
- Keynote speaker
- Conference director
- Technical consultant(s)
- Create a fund to offer financial assistance to our members
- Capital for future years’ in-person conferences
- General operating expenses
- Recoup losses in 2020
- Costs for 2020 – 2021 weekly Virtual Connections programming
- Loss of income from in person conference 2020 – 2021
As you know, we haven’t been able to hold our in-person FARM gathering for two years and that missing revenue is seriously impacting FARM’s bottom line. In addition to the funds needed to cover the programming for our virtual events, we want to be in a secure position to offer an outstanding in-person FARM 2022 gathering in Chicago.
Of course, we understand that many FARM members, especially musicians, have suffered dreadfully from lost income. Artists will spend the coming months arranging and finally playing in-person shows but that time off took its toll and part of our mission will be to offer free registration to members of our community who are continuing to suffer hardship.
The success of our fundraising campaign will be measured by the number of you who participate. We encourage donation amounts of whatever is comfortable for each individual member of our community. Lots of small contributions are welcomed and will add up to help us reach our goal of $15,000.
We welcome your contributions of any amount.
