Big Plans for the week of October 19 – 24!
Private Showcasing
Oct 19, 20 & 21
FARM has made the last minute decision to allow a limited number of showcases, presented by a limited number of hosts in the model of our Private Showcases. These are NOT official showcases and will not disqualify anyone who participates from showcasing next year. We want to keep our community engaged in a way that feels manageable so we’re holding a couple of virtual private showcases each day the week leading up to what would have been our annual conference.
Folk Community Peer Group Session
Oct 22, 2pm EDT
We’ve been hosting bi-weekly peer sessions where our community has been holding some really great open conversations. This will be the last one (or will it?).
Wisdom of the Elders
Oct 23, 2pm EDT
We are so very excited about this. Luminaries from our community; Rich Warren, Annie Hills, Claudia Schmidt and Reggie Harris will join us via Zoom in a great conversation moderated by Matt Watroba.
Keynote Address by John McCutcheon
and Annual General Meeting
Oct 24, 2pm EDT
Despite the postponement of our annual conference FARM is proceeding as planned with an exciting Keynote Address by the one and only, John McCutcheon. You do NOT need to be a member of FARM to be present for what is certain to be an inspiring presentation by this master musician and entertainer. There will be time set aside after the speech for Q&A. Questions will be collected in advance via registration form.
Immediately following the Keynote, we’ll be holding our Annual General Meeting of the Membership. Stick around for a chance to share your thoughts about our Virtual Connections events, learn about what’s coming up, and meet your Board of Directors.
