FARM Virtual Mentor Sessions are back!!
FARM is hosting occasional virtual mentor sessions with knowledgeable and experienced members of our music community who are willing to pass some of that on to you. Each month we’ll have 3 – 6 mentors available to talk with you on a multitude of topics. These are one on one 15 minute sessions held on Zoom.

Janet Feld
Artist, Teacher, Mentor to Artists Who Teach
Janet Feld is an award-winning performing songwriter, appearing at folk festivals and coffeehouses from coast to coast throughout a nearly four-decade career.
Janet’s been teaching general music classes and private lessons to people of all ages since the 1980s. Since 2000, she’s been teaching guitar and songwriting at The Passim School of Music and is the founder and Chief Music Officer at Janet’s Planet: Music Lessons for Humanoids. Janet also published her first book for music teachers, Practicing Safe Music – Create an emotionally safe and magical experience for your music students, while rocking your self-care.

Mike Green
After a nearly 40-year career as a booking agent for numerous folk and roots music artists Mike Green recently retired as the co-owner and agent with Mike Green & Associates,. Now he splits his time between writing songs and performing, serving on the FARM board, and participating in political activism.
Early in his career, Mike served on the Folk Alliance International board, and later as President of the board of NAPAMA (North American Performing Arts Managers & Agents).
